The official OEM replacement pediatric electrode and battery for the Heartsine Samaritan AED series. Health Canada approved and engineered for 4 years of standby reliability. This non-rechargeable battery is easy to install and will ensure your AED adjusts the voltage to be appropriate for pediatrics.
- Pad-Pak electrode pads are appropriate for cardiac arrest patients under 8 years of age or weighing less than 55 pounds (25 kgs.), including infants.
- Contains one set of (2) adhesive electrode pads and integrated battery.
- PAD-PAK should be replaced after use, or once every (4) years.
- Compatible with HeartSine Samaritan defibrillator series (350P/360P/500P).
Description
HeartSine defibrillators use the practical Pediatric-Pad-Pak—an integrated battery and electrode single-use cartridge with one expiration date, which simplifies AED maintenance as there is only one date to monitor and only one item to replace on expiration or after use. With a shelf life of four years from date of manufacture, the Pediatric-Pad-Pak may offer savings as it eliminates the need for separate battery and electrode replacements. Compatible with the HeartSine Samaritan AEDs.
Each Pad-Pak has an industry-first four-year life, and provides 60 shocks or six hours of continuous monitoring. When battery power is down to less than 10 shocks, the Samaritan status indicator changes from green to red and emits an audible prompt to indicate the Pad-Pak should be replaced.
When used with the Samaritan AED, it ensures the appropriate energy level is delivered for children ages 1-8 years old and weighing < 25 kg (55 lbs).
