Each Pad-Pak is a single-use removable cartridge that includes the battery and electrode pads in a single unit. Once placed on the person’s bare skin, they will provide feedback to the AED so it can adapt its voice instructions to your actions and your pace.
- PAD-PAK electrode pads are appropriate for cardiac arrest patients weighing 55 pounds (25 kg) or more.
- Contains one set of (2) adhesive electrode pads and integrated battery.
- PAD-PAK should be replaced after use, or once every (4) years.
- Compatible with HeartSine Samaritan defibrillator series (350P/360P/500P).
Also includes:
- TSO/ETSO-C142a certification that ensures tracing compliance.
- Ready for use on commercial or private aircraft.
Description
HeartSine defibrillators use the practical PAD-PAK—an integrated battery and electrode single-use cartridge with one expiration date, which simplifies AED maintenance as there is only one date to monitor and only one item to replace on expiration or after use. With a shelf life of four years from date of manufacture, the Pad-Pak may offer savings as it eliminates the need for separate battery and electrode replacements. Compatible with the HeartSine Samaritan PAD AEDs.
Each PAD-PAK has an industry-first four-year life, and provides 60 shocks or six hours of continuous monitoring. When battery power is down to less than 10 shocks, the Samaritan PAD status indicator changes from green to red and emits an audible prompt to indicate the Pad-Pak should be replaced.
