Outside of the office Sarah runs her own Interior Design Business (sharing space in the First Edition location), and loves to travel the world, play board games, and play with her 3 dogs.
If you were a component in a first aid kit, what would you be and why?
AED Signage. An AED is only useful if it can be found and understood. Marketing and advertising helps to create awareness of these lifesaving devices and proper signage decreases response times when every second counts.
Andre Girard
Beyond work, Andre enjoys playing hockey and volleyball, and skiing black-diamond runs on ski hills around the world. He also loves taking his three dogs to the park and cooking for his family.
If you were a component in a first aid kit, what would you be and why?
Electrode Pad, the final mechanism of shock delivery. Electrodes directly connect the products to the end user, bridging the gap and providing the opportunity for success!
Steven Williams
Outside of work, Steve enjoys frequent visits to the Calgary Zoo and leads a regular weekly Dungeons and Dragons TTRPG game for a group of friends.
If you were a component in a first aid kit, what would you be and why?
A triangular bandage, the most versatile component in any first aid kit. Perfect for dressing or support and able to fulfill any number of other roles in a pinch; you’d be hard-pressed to find a better item in an emergency.
David Kirkpatrick
Outside of work, David loves to go hiking and chasing waterfalls with his girlfriend and their dog, Bear. David loves animals as seen through his 8 pets (3 cats, 1 dog, 2 lizards, and 2 birds). David is also rebuilding a 1979 Fiat Spider 2000.
If you were a component in a first aid kit, what would you be and why?
Batteries are the energy-source of the AED, providing a powerful ‘shock’ that kick-starts hearts and gives hope.
Lisa Stansfield
Outside of work you can find Lisa in the mountains camping and hiking.
If you were a component in a first aid kit, what would you be and why?
The Fast Response Kit is customer-focused and quick (fast) to respond. It has many useful items representing a diversity in skillset and available tools to solve problems on the spot.
Office Dogs
When the clock strikes 4:30pm, Bella, Gracie, and Elsie can be found waiting at the front door ready for their park walk, followed by barking, shedding, and snuggling – on repeat.

AED Carrying Cases keep everything together and protected. They also act as the beacon you look for in an emergency – Who doesn’t want dogs around in an emergency?!
