Easy Fish Tacos with Lime Slaw

Ingredients (makes 4 servings)

  • 1 lb. White Fish (recommended cod)
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Lime (juiced)
  • ½ tsp. Ancho Chile Powder
  • ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp. Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp. Cumin
  • 2 cups Coleslaw Mix (shredded)
  • ¼ cup Cilantro
  • 4 Green Onions (sliced)
  • 1 Tbsp. Mayonnaise (low fat recommended)
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 Corn Tortillas



  1. With the salt and pepper, some of the lime juice, and the rest of the spices, season the fish evenly.
  2. Let the seasoned fish rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Place a grill pan over medium to high heat to preheat.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, and cumin for the sauce/dressing.
  5. Add the coleslaw mix, green onions, and cilantro to the sauce and toss together until thoroughly mixed.
  6. Place the seasoned fish on aluminum foil and place it on the grill.
  7. Grill the fish for about 6-8 minutes or until flaky and cooked through.
  8. Warm the tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds on each side.
  9. Place the flaked fish inside a warmed tortilla shell, cover with slaw mixture, and serve.
